Hongkong & Disneyland

Finally my holiday started. We had to catch 7am flight and reach the airport at 4am. Huh so early and Aaron still sleeping in the stroller. After checking the bags we decided to have Big Breakfast in Mc Donald. My hubby managed to do his Subuh(Dawn) prayer before boarding the flight. Aaron sleep the whole journey (thanks god!). I told my mom to keep Aaron wake as late as she can the night before. 4 hours journey with AirAsia is horrible. Not sure if other liner good but for sure we not booking with them if the journey more than 2 hours. IMG_0051Express boarding doesn't really make any different in LCCT. I got backpain as the sit can't recline so much. Even our bus sit can recline much more. Oh well you pay cheap ticket so you get cheap service. I can't comment so much.

When we arrived, a bit clueless on which IMG_0050transportation to use to get to the Disney Hotel. But we took the cab as it is easier even thou it cost us HKD 150. Our room is magnificent and comfy. I love the view and very happy with the service. It was raining when we arrive so we rest a bit in the room before we start our journey to Hongkong Island via MTR. Aaron was fascinated with kid bathrobe and slipper.

Our main focus going to Hongkong is to take Aaron to Disneyland so he can meet Mickey Mouse personally. It was fun to see him get IMG_0117 very excited when he saw Mickey Mouse. But he was puzzled when we  enter the souvenir shop as he sees too many Mickey. Some people commented that Aaron too small to enjoy Disneyland but honestly he enjoyed the day. He really have fun watching the Parade and see most of Disney characters alive. On the street he was dancing away enjoying the day and I don't feel trip is a waste. He don't even want to leave the place. So in future plan, we want to ensure we bring him to Disney World in Orlando before he start primary school. It will not be problem to us as my hubby been there and know way around.

Some people know that I'm good in shopping. We do buy a lot of stuff in Ladies Market, Temple Street, Western Market and the IMG_0074alley (LOL). We manage to go to the Victoria Peak but unfortunately it was raining and very cloudy. Barely can see the sunset. We made time to find Chinese Muslim Restaurant and enjoy the food there. We do travel with MTR and thumb up with their MTR system. If you ever get lost in Hongkong than you must be a fool. Being in Hongkong is something like going to Singapore. Their transportation is  very good especially their MTR station. The instruction very straight forward and it is impossible for you to get lost. But you must have a lot of stamina as you need to do a lot of walking. They have Central like our KL Sentral but better system. Everything in one roof. You don't need to go outside to catch another line train like ours (we had to go out of KL Sentral building to catch Monorail). But lack of public restroom. Even in travel guide did mention Hongkong lack of public restroom. If you have to go, please find Mc Donald.

Overall the trip was great but tiring. Aaron barely want to walk so we taking turn to carry him. The trip back is worth while using the express boarding as we are given priority to be in the flight early than the rest so we can get better seat.

I will be downloading most of the pictures at Facebook. The link will be mention below.

Jokes : The Genie of the Lamp

A woman was walking along the beach when she stumbled upon a bottle. She picked it up and rubbed it, a lowland Genie appeared. The amazed  woman asked if she got three wishes.

The Genie said, ? Nope, sorry three wish genies are a story-tale myth. I am a one-wish genie. So . . . what'll it be??

The woman didn't hesitate. She said, I want peace in the Middle East. See this map? I want these countries to stop fighting with each  other and I want all the people of different faiths to love one another, love the Americans and vica-versa. It will bring about world peace and harmony.?

The Genie looked at the map and exclaimed, ?Lady, be reasonable. These countries have been at war for thousands of years. I'm out of shape after being in the bottle for 500 years. I'm good but not  THAT good! I don't think it can be done, "Make another wish and  please be reasonable."

The woman thought for a minute and said, Well, I've never  been able to find the right man. You know, one that's considerate and fun, likes to cook and helps with the house cleaning, is great in  bed and gets along with my family, doesn't watch sports all the time,
and is faithful. That's what wish for . . . a good man.?

The Genie let out a long sigh, shook his head and said, "Let me see that freaking map again."

PROBLEM DRIVING AT NIGHT : BE SAFE

CCTV camera records Mat Rempit attack

VIOLENT crime in progress: These pictures tell how 14 Mat Rempit ganged up to beat and rob five women during an early morning fuel stop in Bangsar.
A CCTV surveillance camera captured the attack on the three sisters and two of their cousins at the Shell petrol station in Jalan Bangsar.

Traumatised, they have vowed never to go to a petrol station again after dark.

Twelve young thugs, on six motorcycles, were said to be 'hovering around the station' while a pair on another motorcycle filled up as the women drove in about 3.30am on Saturday.

They were on their way home after a function in Puchong. Sisters Uma Munusamy, 33, Chittra, 32, and Latha, 31, were to drop off cousins Ragas Letchumanan, 28, and Komala, 20, at their Bangsar home when they decided to stop for fuel.

They drove up to a pump at the station. Latha went to the window counter to pay, while Chittra, who was driving, got out to fill up. That was when the Mat Rempit, who had been noisy and boisterous, moved in, as if acting on cue.

One thug attacked Latha, splashing a can of 'Red Bull' energy drink on her face. The sweet-sour liquid stung her eyes, temporarily blinding her as the thug pushed her down, hit her with the drink can and snatched her gold chain and handphone.

Another three dashed to the car to attack the others.

'We were in fear. We thought that we had been splashed with acid, as the liquid they threw on our faces really stung,' said Uma, recalling the attack.

The women screamed for help, but none arrived. The petrol station workers were safe and sound, inside the premises, where the doors had been locked at midnight.
'The workers just stood there, watching,' said Latha.
At the car, the Mat Rempit ordered the girls to hand over their valuables
and handphones. One of them just couldn't wait. He yanked Uma's gold
bracelet off one wrist and at the same time snatched the handphone she
held in the other hand.
Despite fearing for their lives, the girls put up a fight, trying to prevent the robbers from getting away with their belongings. The scuffles only led to injuries, but fortunately, minor ones.
Ragas was hit on the head several times, while Chittra sustained
injuries on her neck and right arm, besides suffering an injury to the
lower lip. She was then beaten up with a soda can.
'The whole incident really traumatised us but what was worse was the
fact the workers did not even bother to help,' said Uma.
This is one nightmare they do not ever want to experience again. And,
for them at least, no more filling up fuel at night, or stopping anywhere
either during the wee hours. Their total loss: RM3,000 in cash and
valuables.
The five made a report at the Brickfields police station soon after
recovering from the shock of the attack. Police said they are investigating, and have yet to identify the culprits.
The women also expressed their frustration over the Mat Rempit
menace.
'So much has been said, so much anger and frustration has been
expressed over these motorcycle thugs... but yet they seem to be having
a free run,' said Chittra.
Their only hope is that justice will be done, that the CCTV images captured by the surveillance camera will lead to arrests and conviction.

Think twice before venturing out at night. Even with CCTV and people watching, nobody will help you all. Take care of your own self.
